Permanent Residents of Canada can apply to become Canadian Citizens if they meet certain residency and language criteria. Applicants in certain range of age will be required to pass the citizenship exam and take the citizenship oaths.
Children born outside Canada to a Canadian parent/parents may be eligible to apply for the Canadian Citizenship Certificate.
